Veteran loneliness study
Loneliness is one of the strongest and least treated threats to older veterans' mental health. Working with researchers at Yale School of Medicine, I study how loneliness relates to long-term mental health outcomes in U.S. military veterans, and which protective factors might soften its worst effects, using data from a large, nationally representative study of veterans. A first-author publication is pending, and the link will live here when it's out.
